Delhi University phase 3 Started| Simulated list & change preference window| DU Merit list 2022|

Delhi University will release the Simulated Merit List today on the official website. With the release of the simulated list, the University will also open the Preference Change Window for the candidates who, after viewing the simulated list, wish to change their preferences.
Before the announcement of the First Common Seat Allocation System-2022 (CSAS-2022) round 1 merit list, the University is releasing a ‘Simulated List’ through which the candidates will be able to assess their probabilities of securing admission in a programme of a College. After the declaration of the ‘Simulated List’, candidates will get two days i.e., up to 04:59 pm Sunday, October 16, 2022, to re-order their preferences.
Candidates are advised to re-order their preferences by selecting maximum programmes plus College preferences offered to them by the University under the “Available Preferences” to maximise their possibilities of allocation under the CSAS.
The university will release the first merit list on October 18, 2022.
This year, more than 2.17 lakh students have registered for University's UG programmes, down by nearly 70,000 as compared to the last year.
this year registration portal was open on September 12 and closed on October 13. The DU began admissions for over 70,000 seats last month. However, a university official said the number is "not low" but similar to the last year.
According to data provided by the university, as many as 2,17,653 aspirants have registered for its undergraduate courses till Thursday, the last day for applying.
Admission through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) is being conducted in three phases -- submission of the CSAS-2022 application form, selection of programmes and filling of preferences, and seat allocation and admission.
The admissions are open for 79 UG programmes across 67 colleges, departments, and centres. The programmes include 206 combinations of BA courses.
