Former US President Donald Trump has unleashed on Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell for supporting the Biden administration's $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill.
On Friday, Democrats finally managed to pass the infrastructure bill by a 228-206 vote margin in the House .
The passage of the bill was a huge win for the Biden administration as the President seeks to usher his agenda through Congress.
Former President Donald Trump lambasted the Republicans who worked with Democrats to pass the bill - releasing a statement on Sunday claiming they should be “ashamed” of themselves.
“All Republicans who voted for Democrat longevity should be ashamed of themselves, in particular Mitch McConnell, for granting a two month stay which allowed the Democrats time to work things out at our Country’s, and the Republican Party’s, expense!” Mr Trump wrote.
