Jewelry for Architectural Artistry
Published at : November 09, 2021
Your Architectural Artistry seeks to achieve a slightly minimalist aesthetic, because it references the clean elegance of Architecture and the feeling of space. This simplifying impulse is visible in your jewelry.
There are three aspects to form: dimension, whether two-dimensional or three-dimensional; openness of form, whether forms are empty/open like a hoop or filled/closed like a solid; and firmness, whether there is rigidity or softness. These three aspects of form are defined by your Architectural Artistry.
Architectural forms are two-dimensional or flat. This means that curved, rounded surfaces like gemstones will be ineffective, whereas flat polished surfaces will enhance. Shine is more prevalent with flat surfaces, so your jewelry will often be shiny. Also, straight Lines will be very satisfying: not only are two dimensional surfaces prone to straight Lines, but your Architectural nature experiences space from the vantage point of your human form, which resembles the straight form of a column.
Architectural forms are closed or filled rather than open. This means that a disc earring will be very satisfying, with one qualification: it will not necessarily be "filled" all the way. You have a "number of expression" that tells you how filled your forms can be. Your number of expression also tells you how heavy your Fabrics are, how large your Scale is, and how much Simplicity governs your designs; that same guideline of expression is also important here. If you wear lightweight Fabrics, then your disc earrings will only be partially or even slightly filled in.
For example, if you are a Refined Classic, you wear the second lightest weight Fabrics, so your number is 2/13, where 13 is the heaviest, the Elaborate Natural. The Elaborate Natural can wear the heaviest of all Fabrics and also the most solid of all forms. This is covered in The Thirteen Styles and the Zodiac video, https://youtu.be/adVXUriCHO4.
Finally, Architectural forms are rigid rather than soft. You will see that your choker is most often made of a single piece of metal rather than links. Your earrings hold their shapes rather than bend and sway. This quality of firmness also extends beyond your Jewelry into your necklines: you will not benefit from a cowl or a softly encircling neck scarf, but rather you will wear a firm neckline.
If your Artistry is Architectural, you will accessorize your head more than your body, so earrings will be more important than necklaces; although a choker actually doesn't count as a necklace. Hats and other head adornments will also be wonderful for you.
Every person is one of four Artistries: Architectural, Sculptural, Harmonic or Composite. Like your Style, the Artistry that you are when you are born is the Artistry that you will be for your entire life.
Every person's awareness is different, but you may find that you are even more aware of your Artistry than your Style. Both are important, though, and they work together.
Your Style acknowledges your Truth and your Artistry awakens your Beauty.
