Today I visit the gravesites of Private First Class Oliver "Billy" Sipple, who's buried at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, California, just south of the city of San Francisco.

Sipple happened to be at the right place at the right time to prevent President Gerald Ford from being shot. Unfortunately, his good deed ruined his life, proving the old saying, no good deed goes unpunished.

Thanks for joining me today and for sharing the memories!
