All The Grand Memories Of All The Years is caretaker inspired project which features the mental decline of a fictional Alzheimer's patient in great detail. The patient's name is Matthew Luis, who was born on October 1st 1889. He was officially diagnosed with Alzheimer's around the lste 1950s althoughhough he has shown signs of decline since 1954. His case was unique. He progressed through all the early stages normally and most of the late stages, (a year or two on each stage) but he spent many years on the final stages of his disease. Most Alzheimer's patients often live only 9-10 years after the diagnosis, Matthew lived for 13 years before sadly passing away on a cool January night in 1971.
